Stop vitamins, B12, and biotin 72 hours before labs are drawn. Make sure that you are fasting, which means nothing to eat or drink past midnight the day before the bloodwork.

Annual Lab Work for Months 3, 6, and 9:

  • CBC with Hct/Hgb
  • Fasting Glucose
  • Chem 7, Cholesterol/Triglycerides
  • PTH
  • Folate, Iron/TIBC, Ferrin, Transferrin
  • Hct-Hematocrit
  • Liver Panel (SGOT/SGPT, Alk. Phos., t/d Bilirubin)
  • Hgb – Hemoglobin
  • Magnesium, Phosphorus, PTH, TSH, T4 (only if you have a history of thyroid issues)
  • Total Cholesterol
  • Pre-Albumin/Total Protein/Albumin
  • Total Protein
  • Zinc
  • Iron
  • Calcium
  • Copper
